Metro Theatre Tickets

The Metro Theatre is well served by public transport with both trains and buses, late into the evening. To plan your trip visit Transport NSW Trip Planner or call 131 500.

• Trains: Town Hall Station is a 3 minute walk from the venue. Take the Sydney Town Hall exit and walk south along George Street.
• Buses: All buses that run to the Queen Victoria Building are a 3 minute walk from the venue, with many buses to George Street stopping right outside the Metro itself.

There is very limited parking in the CBD, however if you are driving there is secure city parking at Secure Parking on the Cnr Goulburn & Elizabeth Streets. Head to Secure Parking Goulburn Street for details on opening hours and rates.

There is no shortage of cafes, restaurants and bars in the immediate vicinity of The Metro Theatre. Both Chinatown and the Spanish Quarter are adjacent to the area and provide a range of meals for all budgets. Please remember, we have a strict door policy and are committed to responsible service so please drink in moderation. We do not have a specific dress code at the metro unless stated for specific events , we are all about having fun and enjoying yourself. Dress tidy and look your best.

As a condition of entry, all backpack and large bags must be checked into the cloakroom at $3 Per item. Cloak Room availability subject to capacity. Call the Box Office on (02) 9550 3666 to confirm.

SLR cameras and recording devices are strictly prohibited, our friendly venue photographers are happy to snap you and your friends at the gig, all photos are uploaded to our Facebook Page. The Metro Theatre has a photo booth located in our foyer.

Entry to the Metro Theatre will be declined if patrons are seen to be consuming alcohol upon approach or waiting to enter The Metro Theatre as per current legislation and Alcohol Free Zones put in place.
