RISING, Handsome Tours and Astral People
She was mentored by Prince in his final years. She’s ridden zig-zagging beats with the Neptunes and Tyler the Creator. She’s been likened to Sade and sampled by Drake. But, despite the all-star cast, Iranian Swedish-born singer and songwriter Snoh Aalegra always reaches for something singular. She can ad-lib without overplaying it, and straddle soul, R&B and rap, with a low-key, psychedelic flare. Her voice finds the smouldering spot between sensual and wounded, hopeful and defeated, wary and elated. And, whether she’s glancing back at a situationship or riding high in the violet skies of love, she manages an intimate nonchalance that sits you right there next to her, on full grain leather.
After conquering Radio City Music Hall and selling out tours across North America and Europe, Snoh is coming to RISING. Prepare yourself for those feels and temporary highs.
Papua New Guinea born, now Naarm/Melbourne based, Kaiit, who since the release of her debut EP in 2017 has been making waves online and commanding the attention of soul and hip hop tastemakers.
