Now as a solo artist, Garrett brings a more personal and reflective side to the stage while maintaining the powerful presence that has defined his career. Garrett launched his solo career in 2016 with A Version of Now, an album that combines stormy rock epics with acoustic-driven meditations on activism, personal stories, and the human condition. His latest release, True North, delves even deeper. It offers a blend of introspective themes and the driving guitars and rhythms of his band The Alter Egos, of which Midnight Oil’s Martin Rotseyis also a member. An inspiring synthesis of arts meets activism, Peter Garrett’s solo performances are as much a call to action as they are a musical experience. With his unmistakable colossal stage presence still as commanding as ever, Garrett continues to deliver thought-provoking, emotionally charged performances: raw, fierce and straight-from-the-heart. Whether it’s the urgency of his new material or the timeless anthems from his Midnight Oil days, Peter Garrett’s live shows are not just concerts—they are inspiring, powerful experiences full of heart and fire. Opening for Garrett is indie-pop artist Jem Cassar-Daley, who has been a radiant fixture on the music stage since her debut in 2021.Beyond her musical prowess, Jem stands as a proud Gumbaynggirr/Bundjalung woman, inheriting a legacy of storytelling that informs her artistry. Her music seamlessly weaves together the influences of musical luminaries like Missy Higgins, Phoebe Bridgers, Angus and Julia Stone, Joni Mitchell, and Carole King. Jem's magnetic stage presence, celestial vocals, and her ability to craft timeless songs have catapulted her to the forefront of the industry and earned her a constellation of nominations and awards, in the NIMAs, Queensland Music Awards and AIR Music Awards. Jem's music has resonated far and wide, propelling her into the spotlight as she took centre stage during Thelma Plum's national tour in 2022 and graced five coveted showcases at The Great Escape in the UK in May 2023.In the world of live performances and alongside national festival appearances, Jem has been the guiding star as she provided her enchanting support for Busby Marou's national tour in 2023, Kita Alexander’s national tour and King Stingray’s national regional tour in 2024

Chillazy Chair

  • The Chillazy chair is a specially created low-level chair, to allow comfort during picnic-style events and concerts. Chillazy chairs are available for purchase as an add-on to your ticket, or can be hired on the evening at the event. Limited amount of Chillazy chairs will be available for hire on the evening and a $20 bond will be required upon hire of chair, and returned upon return of the chair.

Picnic Blanket

  • Picnic blanket is available to be purchased for the evening. Picnic rugs are 150cm x 180cm and can could sit 4 people comfortably.

Same Day Zoo Entry

  • Enjoy a day at the Zoo before your concert at a special discounted rate! This ticket is valid for the same day as your concert ticket only and is not transferrable to another day. Please note, Twilight ticket holders will need to exit the Zoo at 5.00pm when the Zoo closes, and enter at 6.00pm when gates re-open for the Concert

By purchasing the Twilight at Taronga Retreat package you can choose the best seats in the house with escorted Early Access to the Concert Lawns and there’s no need to worry about getting home and after the concert, your room is just a short walk through the Zoo away. The Wildlife Retreat at Taronga is a luxurious eco-Retreat, nestled in the heart of Taronga Zoo with thoughtfully designed rooms with views of native animals and bushland.

Package inclusions are for Two Adults in a single room with either 1 King Bed or 2 Single Beds:

  • Escorted early access to the Concert Lawns to secure the best position
  • Overnight stay in luxury accommodation for two adults
    • Late Check-out (12:00pm)
  • Buffet Breakfast at Me-Gal restaurant for two adults
  • Complimentary 2 day parking
  • 2 day complimentary entry into the Zoo

Please note:

  • If you have 2 Adults sharing one room, you only need to book 1 package.
  • This package does not include your Twilight concert ticket. This package can only be purchased as an add on to your concert ticket

Unreserved tickets include entry into Twilight at Taronga from 6pm. This ticket does not include access to Taronga Zoo Sydney before 6pm.

Children under 4 years are free into Twilight at Taronga, excluding Lil Twilight concerts.

Taronga Zoo is a fully licensed event and BYO alcohol and glass is not permitted. Bag checks will be conducted on entry and all alcohol and non-alcoholic beverages in un-sealed containers (including glass, cans or hard plastics) will be confiscated.

Free water refill stations are also available on site, so bring your empty reusable water bottles, no glass permitted! Please ensure your reusable water bottles are emptied before entering through the security checkpoint.
