ACCESS INFORMATION

DISABLED PARKING

Disabled Parking is available but must be booked in advance and is subject to availability. Disabled parking permits must be displayed. Drop-off zones will be located at the venue and more information will be available closer to event date. Please phone 8211 1100 for bookings and further details.

ASSISTANCE ANIMALS

Assistance animals are welcome in the stadium (identifiable with an official identification pass, medallion, coat or other recognised form of identification).

PHYSICAL ACCESS VIEWING

Wheelchair spaces are located at various locations within the seating bowl on all public and corporate levels. Companion/associate seats are located at wheelchair space locations. Official companion identification cards must be presented on request. Please phone 1300 665 915 for bookings and further details.

PHYSICAL ACCESS

All main entries to the stadium (North, South and East –from March 2014) are accessible by wheelchair. Ramps and lifts are used extensively around and throughout the stadium to provide safe access for wheelchair or mobility impaired patrons. Ticket counters and food and beverage outlets have been designed to allow good access for patrons in wheelchairs.

HEARING LOOP

Hearing augmentation is available at two ticket windows at each entry (North, South and East –from March 2014). It is available in the seating bowl via the use of neck loops (available for hire through the Event Day Office). Hearing augmentation is also available at the following function rooms and bars: City View Dining Room and Members Bar, Cathedral Room, Premiership Club, Suite One, SACA Committee room, SMA Boardroom, SACA Room, League Room, Western Dining Room and the Level 2 Members Bar.

BAR & RESTAURANT

LIQUOR LICENSING

Adelaide Oval is a licenced venue, restrictions will apply. Details will be available later in the year. Alcohol must not be brought into the stadium and cannot be taken out of the stadium.

CATERING OUTLETS

A range of catering outlets, restaurants and bars will operate at Adelaide Oval. More information will be made available closer to the event date. For enquiries call 8211 1100.

GENERAL INFORMATION

DRESS CODE

For general admission and where dress codes have not been specified, patrons are requested to, at minimum, be appropriately clothed for a public venue. Footwear must be worn at all times. Offensive, racist or obscene clothing or messages on clothing is not permitted.

A range of dress codes apply at Adelaide Oval and patrons will be denied entry or evicted from the stadium if in breach of dress codes. It is the patron’s responsibility to observe the dress codes. Dress codes may vary depending on the event - see the event information for more details.

GAMBLING

There are no permanent sports betting outlets located at Adelaide Oval.

INFORMATION DESK

The Event Day Office is located in the Southern Foyer to the left of the main turnstiles. Alternatively, look for an Adelaide Oval staff member or security staff member who can assist or point you in the right direction. Stadium maps, membership information, tour information, ear plugs, rain ponchos and more are available here.

CAMERAS, VIDEOS AND RECORDING DEVICES

Check event details for policies regarding cameras, videos and recording devices. Generally, unless specified, the use of professional photographic equipment is prohibited and all video or audio recording is also prohibited.

BOX OFFICE

Event day: Ticket offices are located on the Southern Plaza and the North Gate (access from Pennington Terrace). From late March 2014, a ticket office will also be located at the East Gate.

Ticket collections are available from the Events Deck Ticket Office located on the Southern Plaza, unless otherwise directed.

On non-event days, tickets are available for sale from the Event Day Office located on the Southern Foyer.

AGE RESTRICTIONS

Age restrictions may be applicable for certain events. Please check the event specific information for more details. Photo identification may be required and must be presented on request.

GENERAL INFORMATION

TICKETING

All ticket bookings for Adelaide Oval public events are through Ticketek. Ticket pricings, conditions, seating configurations etc will vary depending on the event. See the event specific information for more details.

PASS-OUTS

Unless otherwise stated by specific event policies, pass-outs will be permitted and must be obtained from the nearest gate prior to exiting (patrons must be in possession of the original entry ticket). Check the event information for details.

ALCOHOL FREE ZONES

Designated alcohol free zones will be in place for the cricket and football seasons.
Cricket season will be bays 148 and 149.
Football season will be bays 149 and 100 (Members area)
The western end of the Northern Mound will be clearly signed as an alcohol-free zone.
Ask for more information when booking your tickets.

UMBRELLAS

Umbrellas are permitted in the stadium, however for the safety and enjoyment of all patrons they must not be opened at any time while activity is underway on the field of play or during a performance or at any time where the use of the umbrella may block the view or cause disturbance to other patrons (or in the case of AFL/SANFL events, umbrellas must not be opened at any time within the stadium). Umbrellas must be safely stored under patron seats and not block or impede the passage or view of other patrons. Rain ponchos and sunscreen can be purchased at the Event Day Office and most food kiosks located around the stadium.

CONCESSION POLICY

Ticket prices and concession policies will be set by the venue hirer and may vary from event to event. Please check the event information for more details. Photo identification may be required and must be presented on request.

CHILDREN AT THE VENUE

Adult supervision is recommended for all children under 15 years of age. Please note that this is a licensed venue and restrictions will apply. Parental discretion is strongly encouraged for the safety and enjoyment of the children and other patrons. Please consider content, noise and crowd factors which may prove to be unsuitable for young children. See the event specific information for details on ticket pricing and conditions.

PARENTING ROOMS

Parenting rooms are located inside the stadium on Level 1 near the South and East entry (from March 2014) and in the Western Stand for Members. Each parenting room contains a microwave, table, chairs, change-tables, feeding rooms, toilets and nappy disposal bins.

PRAMS AND STROLLERS

Prams and strollers are permitted in the stadium however due to space limitations and for the safety and enjoyment of all patrons, discretion is requested. The options for placing and storing prams and strollers are as follows: they must be folded and placed under seats when not in use, or placed near seats as long as they do not block the passageway or view of patrons, or placed in wheelchair bays as long as those spaces are not pre-sold as reserved seating areas and as long as priority is given to wheelchair users.

ATMs

ATMs are located on the Southern Plaza and on Level 1 of the stadium near the South Gate, East Gate (from March 2014) and Western Stand.

An ATM will also be located on the Northern Mound for the cricket season.

FIRST AID

First Aid rooms are located just inside the main Southern and Eastern entries (from March 2014) on Level 1. Additional rooms are located on Level 5 (South and East – from March 2014) and the Western Stand Atrium. The rooms will be staffed by St John Ambulance volunteers on major event days however if a room is unattended please follow the instructions on the door or speak to an Adelaide Oval staff member. In the event of an emergency, please dial 000 or 112 (mobile phone). Public Access Defibrillators are located around the stadium. Ear plugs are available at the Event Day Office.

TRANSPORT FACILITIES

TRAM

Trams operate between Glenelg and the city with stops located on North Terrace, approximately a five-minute walk across the Torrens River pedestrian footbridge (due for completion in March 2014) or via King William Street.  For timetables and more information visit the Adelaide Metro website.

TAXI

Taxi ranks and drop-off zones will be located on Pennington Terrace and War Memorial Drive.

WALK

The Adelaide Oval is located a short walk from the Adelaide CBD and is accessible via King William Street and the Torrens River pedestrian footbridge (due for completion in March 2014).

BICYCLE

200 bike parks are located at Adelaide Oval near the South/East Gates and the North Gate/parklands.

BUS

Bus services run throughout the Adelaide metropolitan area and service several bus stops in the vicinity of Adelaide Oval.  Refer to the Adelaide Metro website.

CAR PARKING

Limited public car parking will be available in the North Car Park for cricket events for the upcoming season. Fees apply and parking is subject to availability.

The use of public transport is strongly recommended.
Limited on-street parking around the stadium is subject to time restrictions.  Refer to the street signage for details.
For non-event days, an onsite car park will be available from March 2014 for paid casual parking (subject to availability), accessible from King William Road.

VIDEOSCREEN: YES

There are three large video screens located within the stadium. The northern mound screen is 180m2. The South East (from March 2014) and South West screens are 125m2.

TV screens are located throughout the stadium in restaurants and bars.

SMOKING POLICY: YES

Adelaide Oval is a smoke free venue. Smoking is prohibited inside the stadium (including bars, toilets, hospitality suites and outdoor spaces) and all external areas, including the Southern Plaza. Persons wishing to smoke must exit the stadium and proceed to the clearly marked smoking areas (see Pass-Outs).

PUBLIC TELEPHONES

Two public telephones are located at the stadium - one inside the stadium at the South entry and one inside the stadium at the East entry (from March 2014).

TOILETS

Toilets are located throughout the stadium on all public and corporate levels.

UNDERCOVER SEATING

Adelaide Oval is an outdoor stadium. Whilst most stands are covered or partially covered by roof structures, depending on the seat position, time of day or direction of wind, patrons may be subject to the weather. Patrons are advised to bring or wear appropriate protective clothing. Please note the stadium’s policy on Umbrellas. Rain ponchos and sunscreen are available for purchase at food kiosks and the Event Day Office located in the Southern Foyer.

VENUE FACILITIES

STAIRS AND LIFTS

Main stair-wells exist on all four sides of the stadium to access each level. Elevators and/or escalators are located close to all stair-wells. Depending on the location of your seat within the seating bays, you may be required to use aisle stairs.

All stadium lifts are designed to comply with physical access requirements. Priority should be given to people with special needs.

MERCHANDISE

Merchandise outlets are available in several locations around the stadium, depending on the event.
